COMPAS is the new crewing management software selected by CSL. It makes it easy for CSL seafarers, in Canada and Australia, to manage their schedules and work-related matters.

Visit the Resource page to watch the COMPAS Onboard Training video and consult the User Guide and an updated FAQ.

The new tool allows crew members to directly manage their CSL affairs without the need to call or email the office, including:

  • vessel assignments
  • expense claims
  • manage crew change (sign-on/sign-off)
  • crew list
  • compliance check
  • reference port calls

These functionalities are available and more could be added in the future.

Note that COMPAS is only available to crew members working on CSL vessels, not on foreign vessels which will continue with their current crewing systems and processes.

COMPAS is CSL’s source of truth for crew member data. COMPAS is integrated with OLP and Shipsure 2.0 to ensure that information flows efficiently between our systems.

COMPAS is accessible through two access modes, each offering different functionalities:

  • On board a vessel
  • By any personal mobile device or PC, in self-service mode
