COMPAS Deployment for CSL Australia

COMPAS officially launched for CSL Australia on November 27, 2023, and is now used to manage several crew-related activities.

The crew management modules deployed on board the Donnacona, the Goliath and the FOTB Spencer Gulf are mainly sign-on/sign-off, access to crew documents such as certifications and training, and the list of seafarers planned for boarding.

Coordinators will be able to plan and change crew members in real time, ensuring faster and more efficient exchanges with the onboard management teams.

Refinements are still required to fully optimize the system’s functionality but the feedback received so far is very positive.

The priority for the next phase is to implement self-service with access to personal information as well as upcoming assignments for all CSL Australia crew members from February 2024 and to deploy COMPAS for CSL Canada over the first months of 2024.
