With the Ocean Learning Platform (OLP) launch just around the corner, here are the next steps to get you prepared:
- OLP will be available to you before the end of July 2022. The exact date of the launch will be communicated to you shortly.
- You will receive your OLP login information by email prior to the launch.
- Meanwhile, you can consult the Ocean Learning Platform and Latest News sections of this portal to learn more about OLP, and watch training videos on how to use OLP in the Resources section of this portal.
- In these videos, you will learn how to access and navigate the application, search and complete training courses, consult your data, and perform any other task.
- To support you through the steps in OLP, users’ guides will also be available in the Resources section.
- Once OLP is live, Videotel and Litmos will not be used anymore. Training data history will be uploaded in OLP to ensure employee records are up to date.
- Virtual training sessions and Q&A sessions will be organized for shipboard management, who will be able to register to their preferred session. Accessibility to WIFI will be required to participate in these sessions.
- The CVMS/AVMS will be updated at a later date. You will be notified once this is completed.
